Live Linux Multiboot 160GB USB Hard Drive With Lots of OS, Software & Utilities. Refurbished 160GB SATA hard drive in New USB enclosure. We have upgraded our Linux 60GB USB hard drive to 160GB, updated and added more Linux OS to the live boot menu (Must have product key or digital licence to activate after install). This bootable 160GB USB hard drive is packed full of Linux 32-Bit and 64-Bit operating systems, including standard OS and specialty OS for system diagnostics, rescue and recovery, hard drive cloning, partitioning, backup. In addition to bootable live Linux distros, there are additional ISOs saved on the hard drive which you can burn to a DVD or thumb drive. Windows 7 and 10 has built in ability to burn ISOs to DVD, and we have included Rufus so you can make bootable thumb drives to run them from, Yumi to make multiboot thumb drives of live linux distros. This hard drive allows you to try out Linux operating systems without installing them on your main hard drive, which you can do later once you have found your favorite. The specialty Linux distros, like Hirens and Parted Magic, gives you lots of useful utilities to get any Windows or Linux system up and running again. To boot from the USB hard drive you need to know how to either access your BIOS to change the boot order, or bring up the Boot options menu before booting onto your hard drive. On a Dell it is F2 key to enter Bios and F12 to bring up the one-time boot options menu, but you need to know which key does it on yours. Once you boot from USB device you will have a menu that will allow you to run any of the live distros below - they run from the USB hard drive in memory. If you decide to install one or more of the Linux OS onto your hard drive you have that option.
